340 g bacon
226g grated cheddar cheese
64 ml heavy cream
56 g butter
1 tsp chopped garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: 32 ml chicken stock if you prefer a thinner cheese sauce. Add broth before cream and bring to a boil.

Boil broccoli for about 10-12 minutes until tender, then strain and let cool.

Cut bacon strips into 0.5-0.6 cm pieces and fry until crisp.

Remove bacon from skillet and let cool on paper towels to absorb excess fat.

Preheat a large saucepan and melt the butter in it.
